A prime example of why these need to be banished.

9Wants to Know reviewed Johnson's case with Aurora Police Officer Frank Fania, who admitted that upon looking at the photo it is clear Johnson was not the driver.

It's clear she isn't the driver, yet it's being turned over to a collection agency. Gotta love big government.

It's also clear that the address for the vehicle's registration wasn't changed, she sent two letters to the wrong PO box, and she didn't go to court to resolve the issue.

She didn't read the instructions when she got the citations. Why on earth would you just send letters after that amount of time?

We need to fight back and wear a ski mask or other disguise when driving in Denver. I started putting my sun visor down at red lights, hope it helps. How about sun glasses and a fake mustache/beard? LOL

Its an outrage!

Who knows? The real issue to me is why is it now her responsibility to clean up this mess created by Aurora? They caused this problem - they should fix it. This is a perfect illustration why these automated cash cows need to be eliminated.

Not only that, but their excuse of "They make intersections safer" is bunk too. Wanna know the most effective tool for making intersections safer?

Add an additional 2 second delay to the light change from red to green after the cross-traffic has turned red. Period.

But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

Better timing sync of city traffic lights would help smooth out traffic too.

The part in the OP about mailing addresses is interesting too, I totally forgot to tell the DMV when I moved up to Bailey to change my DL address. When I renewed my license they still had my old address- for many years too! I hope I didn't get any tickets sent to my old mail.

FYI...

I just got back from driving around Tuscany Italy. They have permanent speed cameras placed in towns and in the countryside. They also have signs announcing that you are coming upon a electronic monitoring zone. My GPS unit which I purchased in the states and brought along with me would put up a warning on the screen before you came to one of these zones.

Garmin.

Mine saved me before I got 50 feet away from the Hertz rental lot in Florence Italy. I was suddenly in the middle of the most wild traffic and the craziest laid out streets and highways I ever have seen. It took me 3 minutes and 40 seconds to become an expert Italian driver... I had no choice... else I would have been killed.
