I need you to confirm the terms I have set forth here JMC. I called my banker - she is ready for your call. I consider this to be a contract between the two of us. It will hold up in court.

My banker will take your account info- divide the number by 50. If your number is bigger than mine- you get 5K. If my number is bigger than yours- she WILL transfer 5K from your account to mine.

She does not question me- if I say I have a contract- she's gonna transfer the money. You ain't gettin it back.

You agree to these terms right here and now- and I'll PM you her number.

Your account info first- I give you my word I'll hold up my end.

So are you insinuating that based on posts that don't agree with yours, that somehow Bear is likely to be a thief? Once again you show your ignorant stripes.

Archer is like a little ankle-biting poodle... the other day she claimed I was a internet stalker... she blows these dog whistles in order to shut down the dialog... I'm waiting for her to claim one of the conservatives here on 285 Bound is a clild molester or something like that. Actually her make believe world is dangerous. It's comments like hers above that can take down someone's whole reputation with innuendoes and outright lies... with no proof... just the fantasies...

It must suck to see big bad wolves under every rock.

I didn't say that did I, nor did I insinuate any such thing about posts that don't agree with me. the ignorant stripes are all on your back.

On a more universal note....trusting anyone you know only through an anonymous message board with personal financial information, or really any personal information is a very bad idea.

Hey TLGOPT....why don't you give us all your credit card numbers and bank account information......that would be a terrific idea......what an idiotic idea that anyone would ask for someone elses financial information....if that isn't "off" I don't know what is.

I agree- which is why my banker will handle the info. The number I give him will be verifiable to a well established bank- and to a banker with an impeccable reputation.

There nothing shady here. Straight up.

Once I get confirmation of the terms in writing here - it's all on the up and up.
This is not a bet- it's a contract, just ask your attorney.

Keep spinning...I'm quite sure jmc or anyone else with at least two brain cells know not to give financial info to anyone. There's not much gray area in this statement "Bear is the last person here I would want knowing anything about my finances or investments", but as usual, you try to wiggle and contort out of what you really meant....or you have no idea what you are saying. For all you know, Bear could be the most trustworthy person here...unless you know him personally have real life examples that he is not.

No it's not. It's totally confidential... Bear has offered a third party who is a professional and handles financial information everyday. And at the end of this "contract," all parties would be totally aware of who each other is, their real identities. Like I said before, you see big bad wolves under every rock... a little paranoid are you?

I use my real name and personal info on a number of other forums that I participate in. The folks on these other forums (and these are public forums) know exactly who I am, where I live, my phone number, where I work, information about my various entertainment ventures and the newspaper articles relating to my work in the arts... all kinds of info. And even though I signed up here with a alias, I've dropped enough info in my various comments over the last year that anyone with a little brains figure out who I am. If you have handled your public self honestly and are smart enough to have sound and secure personal dealings... there is no problem.

I would have no problem posting my real name and links to website that would give you a good background to my work.

That's correct- he's gonna know my account # the second the money moves. The only way he can win here is if he has an account # with 50 times the amount that I have.

And I know how much I have- it's unlikely that he has 50 times that much, but if he does- I'm totally good for the 5K.
