Born in Kenya? Obama bio raises doubts - again!

I've been saving this as a little surprise for this thread topic...

Kenyan-born Obama all set for US Senate (Sunday, June 27, 2004)

Kenyan-born US Senate hopeful, Barrack Obama, appeared set to take over the Illinois Senate seat after his main rival, Jack Ryan, dropped out of the race on Friday night amid a furor over lurid sex club allegations.

The allegations that horrified fellow Republicans and caused his once-promising candidacy to implode in four short days have given Obama a clear lead as Republicans struggled to fetch an alternative.

Ryan’s campaign began to crumble on Monday following the release of embarrassing records from his divorce. In the records, his ex-wife, Boston Public actress Jeri Ryan, said her former husband took her to kinky sex clubs in Paris, New York and New Orleans.

"I feel for him actually," Obama told a Chicago TV station. "What he’s gone through over the last three days I think is something you wouldn’t wish on anybody."

Kenya must have gotten this misinformation from Obama's misinformed publishers misinformation that was mistakenly written by Obama's literary agencies assistant Miss Miriam Goderich. A lot of missing going on here.

No big surprise to me. I remember reading about this in 2009. It was debunked back then. The Kenyan newspaper added the Kenyan-born part and even misspelled his name.

Congratulations J, you have succeeded on reaching a new personal low.

Thank you, I will take that as a compliment. If the hood fits.
Would you take this Kenya stuff seriously if it was Germany? or France? or even Mexico?

What the fuck are you talking about?
This has been my only comment on this thread:

I was around 20 years ago and paying attention. You are a liar. (just practicing my JMC shtick) but seriously are you stupid or do you just think that everyone reading this thread was born yesterday?

That makes me a partial racist? Stick it.

Let's see? in 1991 the literary firm Dystel added the Kenyan born information in Obama's biographical blurb... totally on their own as stated by Miriam Goderich. And you say the Kenyan newspaper "added the Kenyan-born part" totally on their own. Well... that's two sources that "totally on their own" claimed that Obama was born in Kenya. Michelle said it once "his home country Kenya" ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6M7Rp_Ghv6k ). We have to assume all three of these sources made this up without any input, without any valid reason... all on their own?

By the way... you say this was debunked? Can you post me a link to that debunking? Some information about the debunking? Considering we have examples of people making stuff up... I'm becoming a bit jaded and wonder if you made that up? Help me out here Raees. I think he was born in Hawaii, but I'm curious why there was so much misinformation presented in the past?

Yes, show us how it was all debunked...please.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

The Associated Press made no such reference; the identification of Barack Obama as "Kenyan-born" was added to the Sunday Standard's version of the AP story by someone else (who misspelled the politician's given name as "Barrack" in the process) and is apparently unique to that publication. The full text of the "Jack Ryan Abandons Senate Bid" article as originally issued by the Associated Press is retrievable from the LexisNexis archive of global news sources and it contains no reference (in the lead-in or elsewhere) to Barack Obama's being "Kenyan-born":

Wow... You can hear the surprise in *MY* voice! Who knew?!?! I guess the birthers will have to move on to republishing one of their other repeatedly disproven whackjob stories... (It's kind of like "Whack-a-Mole"...You beat one down with the facts, and another one of the old ones just pops up.)

Here fishy, fishy, fishy...

You know Bill, a simple google search would have answered your question. Im constantly amazed that seemingly intelligent people continue to believe this garbage without ever verifying the truth of what they have been told.
