Tell me, Gov Walker, how's that approval-rating working out for ya?
And I hope Walker has a plan about what he'd like to do when he's thrown out of office.

Wisconsin is going to be the poster-child for "How to take back your state from the right-wing fringe."
... and Walker has a 60% disapproval rating.

Ya think we can get her to take off those commie colored glasses for a few minutes so she can see what reality looks like?

Wishful thinking.

Lady Jazzer won't respond to anything on this thread. Her goal is not to debate truth or facts. Her mission is to drop turds and hope that some conservative will step in it. And like a turd, it doesn't matter what color it is, what shape it is or what the source was... they all still smell. And those that don't get stepped in, they dry up and crumble away... much like those 16 months of comment by Lady Jazzer about Walker.

Did someone start a democracy???? Where? tell me about it. Wisconsin, yeah right?

Oh I forgot, we replaced the definition of republic with democracy because it plays well in the press (and msg boards).

Perhaps LJ realized how petty the party/sports team talk is and is letting you continue down that path on your own? We are allowed to learn from our mistakes...

That's funny, it's nitpicking to have reasonable and consistent and non overlapping definitions for the words we use to base our entire society on....You realize that most of the time the word democracy is used that it is used incorrectly to rally people behind an unrelated cause....and when people rally we shift the system and most of our shifts of recent years seem to be detrimental.

Isn't this thread and most on this board nitpicking with little eye to conflict resolution...

Yes, I realize the difference between a democracy and a representative republic. I also realize that the average reader of this post doesn't know the difference. Some write to communicate with the audience, some write to change the audience. It's just a difference in style - colloquial .vs. proper.

But, you do have a good point, it's not like any of these threads actually result in a resolution.

Unless by 'resolution' you mean calling each other "fathead" and "goober eater" and moving on to the next subject.

Perhaps Lady Jazzer was wrong... for 16 months wrong... her rants about Walker had nothing to do with reality.

Funny the way some people try to paint this as "As Wisconsin goes, so goes the rest of the country."
