Really? It will be around for a couple news cycles, and it's the weekend. I know Romney will keep it alive as long as possible....like Obama keeps the "I like to fire people" and the quote about poor people which I forget (see....stuff really doesn't stick very long)

I think his last campaign he was labeled as done about 10 times.....but he still won. Maybe the American voters have acquired a taste for toast. lol

Here... laugh about this. S&P Affirms U.S. Rating; Outlook Still Negative

Standard & Poor's Ratings Services affirmed its sovereign-credit rating on the United States at its second-highest level, saying the country has a resilient economy but continues to face political and fiscal risks.

S&P affirmed the U.S.'s sovereign credit rating at double-A-plus, and the outlook remains negative.

Though S&P views the U.S. government and policy making as generally strong, it noted that the ability to implement reforms has weakened in recent years because of a sometimes slow and complex decision-making process, particularly with regard to broad fiscal policy.

Last I heard was that they were threatening to lower the credit rating if the US congress didn't agree on a debt deal. They also said

S&P stressed that while Congress needs to come up with a debt-reduction plan for the medium term -- meaning over 5 to 10 years -- it needs to be careful about upending the economy in the short-run.
"We believe the fiscal challenges of the U.S. are more structural and recognize that abrupt short-term measures could be self-defeating when domestic demand is weak," S&P said.

Sounds more like they are warning Republicans than Democrats.

That's the point....they can hardly ignore what is going on in our congress and they call it like they see it. Interpret as you will.....our congress is playing chicken while the country looks to be down graded once again.

Personally I think a downgrade in our credit rating is EXACTLY what the GOP is working towards.....they are more concerned with making Obama fail than they are with what is good for the country....it has been that way for 3 1/2 years.

No... the Obama administration had all three branches of the government from 2008-2010. So I don't think the GOP was able to start their covet plan of destroying our whole financial system until at least Jan. 2010.

But you're right. I got a secret email last year that stated the exact same thing. And in the same email, it discussed how Obama is really a Muslim and he's trying to tear down the fabric of out society so he can step in and install Sharia law in our country. And there was a third subject in that email talking about how Obama is really a space alien from Retaticuli and someday, at a news conference or something, he's going to rip off his latex face and we are going to see the lizard man under the phony mask and...

The private sector feeds the bloated government sector. We already know this country doesn't have the revenue to feed the massive pensions that government workers get... Obama better hope the private sector iis fine because what happened in WI will happen everywhere and there goes lots of funding (compliments of the taxpayer of course).

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

President Obama did not have the super majority from 2008-2010 and that is what it takes anymore to have control 2 of the 3 branches of government. The Democrats didn't have the super majority and the GOP used all of the means that they could to block as much of Obama's agenda as they could. He didn't have the judicial branch, so only 2 out of 3. So, the claim that the Democrats had total control of the government is very misleading. The GOP's plan to block and stop Obama at all costs has been in place since Obama won the election. The GOP plan was not to govern but to find President Obama's "Waterloo" and try to sink him with it. That much has been admitted.

Unless the GOP gets a super majority in both houses if Romney wins the White House, things are going to stay stagnant in government just as the GOP has now set the standard for.

Meanwhile back in the present day...

It's 2012 and Obama has shown the world he has no idea what he is doing or what the effect of his actions has been on the nation and it's population. In my opinion Barry probably believes he has done a better than average job as president; the problems are Bush's fault, Congress, and anyone else he can come up with to pawn the blame on.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
