Obama to Legalize Illegal Immigration by Decree; Will Add 800,000 Voters In November
In the midst of the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression in which millions of Americans have lost jobs we can expect even more competition in the employment marketplace.

They are already here... working... this just gives them permission. Even Republican Marc Rubio is in support of a similar program that he put together. This is a non-issue for the right to argue about. They are not gaining citizenship and anyone complaining about illegals, already here, already working and having obtained at least a high school education or even participated in our military... that person is going to look like a jerk.
While I am also in favor of this program, the way Janet and Barack are doing this is unacceptable. No debate, no public discussion, not involving the legislators at all.

Considering the lack of verifying which voters are eligible to vote... they are already voting... for Democrats. And on top of that, there are a lot of folks on the right that would agree with this executive order... especially business people who hire this sort of labor. This is a non-issue. Concentrate on where we can win... this is a loosing proposition for the right to argue. Can't you see that?

I disagree. Anti-illegal immigration legislation is quite popular and has netted the Republicans a lot of voters and a lot of campaign donations.
Illegal immigration is an example of a bipartisan centrist, blue collar voting issue. The Dem elite wants amnesty or at least ignoring illegals working here giving birth to anchor babies. The Republican company owners love turning a blind eye to this issue so that they can continue to drive down wages and take advantage of workers who live in the shadows illegally.
With 8+% unemployment, Obama's plan to add legal workers to the labor pool could attract more Dems to vote for Romney.
Concern about losing the Hispanic vote for Republicans? I believe this is overblown. Latino voters tend to vote much less than other groups. Their political power is underrepresented.

The King has spoken, we have no need for a Congress.
The dream act has been out there for Republicans to support and they haven't. If congress won't act the president has the authority to do so. Republicans need to understand the consequences of their "just say no" policies.

Well this is a good point, and hopefullly Democrats will remember and won't scream bloody murder when a Republican president does the same thing one day.
I'm not sure this will be a big vote getter like I think Obama is counting on, because these non-citizens will be free to take jobs from legal Hispanics who actually can vote... so it's probably a wash.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
