Or would they get the hint that they need to start compromising if they want to keep their jobs? Because a sweep of Independents at the mid-term to clear out the corrupt trash would rock!

It seems like you need some clout and friends in high places to get things done as president. If you don't, the Washington machine will shut you down quick. Who's president seems to matter a bit less than who's in congress where it's a numbers game.

Agree completely. The president's job seems to be more of a cheerleader for their party... someone to speak to the American people and convince them that that party's ideas are the right ones. And if the press really likes you, you get to speak that message at will with little scrutiny.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

I used to believe that but have learned with the current Presidential numnuts who has made all kinds of executive orders and appointed far left liberals to the Supremes that it is equally important. Ginsberg and Breyer will probably be replaced soon.

Could be applied to Bush as well. W issued 288 executive orders and appointed 2 far right conservatives to the Supreme Court. Just trying to keep it fair and balanced with your reply, but with your derisive nickname for President Obama everyone can see your real agenda is to try to slam President Obama.

Thanks for telling me what I am doing. I don't care for the current numnuts nor the previous who was a Republican. Whether it can be applied to the shrub doesn't negate what the current numnuts is doing.
