Look, the only reason the USPS is operating at a loss is the requirement they fund FUTURE retirements NOW. No other business anywhere is held to a requirement such as this. This was forced upon USPS by Republicans to force USPS to collapse, so the private corps can take over, charge FAR more to deliver less...because USPS is socialist gubmint control, and unfair competition to "job creators" who want immense profits to provide a necessary service to the community. Its nothing short of another attack on lower/middle income Americans...and you freaking IDIOTS champion the effort.
Repeating mistruths and skewed reality such as "but USPS isn't turning a profit" demonstrates absolute voluntary stupidity. You think some here are arrogant to call out your idiocy? No, not arrogant...just aware enough to realize just how dangerous people are when they're too LAZY to have a clue what they're talking about.
PV has been drinking the union kool-aid again but I do think it is unfair that Congress decides how they run their busiiness. What rates they charge. What days they are open.

Forced upon the USPS by Republicans? Are you referring to the 2006 Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act which passed in the House 410 - 20 and passed in the Senate by voice vote (meaning it wasn't even close)?
And it's a shame that the Postal Service is required to fund it's retirement program so the tax payers won't have to shell out billions to bail it out. It's kind of like what ERISA the PBGC have been requiring for private pensions.
