WASHINGTON – Despite concerted Democratic attacks on his business record, Republican challenger Mitt Romney scores a significant advantage over President Obama when it comes to managing the economy, reducing the federal budget deficit and creating jobs, a national USA TODAY/Gallup Poll finds.
By more than 2-1, 63%-29%, those surveyed say Romney's background in business, including his tenure at the private equity firm Bain Capital, would cause him to make good decisions, not bad ones, in dealing with the nation's economic problems over the next four years
I wonder what the poll would look like if Obama hadn't spent $56 million on negative ads last month (4 times what Romney spent). Or maybe these ads are backfiring? Keep on spending your war chest Mr President
Devil you don't know over the devil you do know? People know what they got with Obama, high unemployment, massive debt, failed green energy programs, and a man who doesn't understand economics.
Mitt knows the difference between a debit and a credit, and understands what high debt levels do to the economy.
I, too, would like to see Barack run out of cash before the convention.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
I heard that Obama has spent more money than he has taken in for the last 2 months - seems like bad habits die hard even when it isn't the public's money that he is spending.

Yes, and I have to laugh every time I hear him lie about being ouutspent now, and during the last election.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
Regardless of all the other issues that this country faces, $$$ is what keeps it rolling and in most polls the economy is the #1 concern. So Mitt gets the High 5 on that.
I'm not too sure this poll means much really. Mickey Mouse would probably be preferred 2:1 over clue-less Obama to handle the economy whatever that means. A president does not really "handle" the economy, but sure as hell has the power to screw it up.
If you want to be, press one. If you want not to be, press 2
Republicans are red, democrats are blue, neither of them, gives a flip about you.
I read a story that said the undecideds in this election are the smallest number ever. Most people have made up their mond on who to vote for, so spending all these millions of dollars on campaign ads is a waste of money.
It also means all the posturing on here is a waste of time. Nobody is changing anyone's mind.
