Then you're wasting your time posturing.

He does hold a slight lead, which is a bad sign for him considering he had a substantial lead a few months ago and Romney is catching up. Add the fact that Obama has outspent Romney x4 last month with nothing to show for it. Maybe he's got an October surprise but I think he's shooting his wad early.archer wrote: Dont count on it ...Obama still holds a slight lead in the popular vote polls and a larger lead in those that reflect the electoral college votes.

I heard from somewhere that undecided voters more offen vote for the new guy, which to me makes sense. After 4 years of an encumbent, if you are unsure, what does that say? Like asking a married person if they will still be married next year and they say "I'm undecided".Raees wrote: I found the story I was referring to about undecideds:
President Obama, Mitt Romney and a slew of outside groups will spend hundreds of millions of dollars over the next three and a half months trying to convince 1/16th of the American electorate to vote their way.
New polling from The Washington Post and ABC News shows there are fewer genuinely undecided voters during the 2012 election campaign than there have been in any of the last three elections.
And less than one in five voters says there is any chance at all that he or she will change his or her mind.
