Romney is losing among Hispanics by 48%.
Romney is losing among LGBT by 77%

I don't have numbers on seniors and veterans right now, but the automatic "gimme" from veterans is not a sure thing anymore. Most of the veterans I've registered to vote in the last 2 months have said they are grateful to Obama for keeping his promise to bring them home, and they would never vote for Romney who wants to drag it out indefinitely for political gain. Seniors seem split depending on the state, but the more they hear about the Ryan plan and getting handed a voucher for their Medicare, the more votes he loses...

obama is losing among Veterans and those serving

Do you have the numbers on that?

Archer I do, I will have to go back about 3 weeks to the Army Times to get it and I will do that for you.

Yeah, I guess they'd rather vote for the guy who dodged the draft multiple times.

This is the first time since the 1940s that neither the Republican nor Democratic nominee for president has served in the U.S. military.

Not the first time, Bill Clinton never served in the military, he was a draft dodger also.

I think this fits pretty well in this thread:

Republican Brand Hurts Romney While Obama Wins Culture Wars

Here is a possible answer to those important questions perplexing both the Romney campaign and the Republican Party.

The election is not just all about jobs and the economy. It is also about negative opinions and cultural issues that voters hold about Republicans in general.

Let me explain.

Here is a line of questioning I emailed a handful of friends and family spread across the nation, some in battleground states, whom I know voted for Obama in 2008 and I assumed were planning on voting for him again:

Are there any circumstances you can imagine that would cause you to vote against Obama and vote for Romney instead? Is there anything Obama could do or say? For example, how about a negative change in your personal job situation or if the unemployment rate reached 14%? Anything at all that would move you to change your vote away from Obama?

For the record, the demographics of this group are as follows:

All are in their 30’s and married, some have children. They are all white, college educated and gainfully employed.

There are about 6-7 posted email responses that really sum up why the Republican brand is toxic to everyone except far-right people, and knee-jerk Obama-haters. (And did I mention this is on REDSTATE.COM ?) They aren't selling anything the independents and undecideds want.

With the choice of Ryan, any of his base that were thinking of wobbling are now going to be firmly committed to make sure that the Twit & Pinocchio don't get anywhere near the presidency. I think they're beginning to realize that they don't have a chance at winning the 6-8% in the middle; they absolutely aren't going to win any of the Dems on the left; and now the only thing they have left is to try to shore up their extremist base. So, you'll hear less talk about the economy & jobs--(which has been a joke anyway)--and start going after the values/social issues that motivates the extremists anyway.

I'll take a guy who never served in the military over one who has never held a real job any day.

Is Ryan really all that toxic? He wins again and again in a 50/50 district. Maybe when people form their own opinions rather than be spoon fed by the media, they might like him?

I do think Ryan would smoke Joe Biden in a debate. Pretty smart guy there.

Ryan will eat Biden for lunch in a debate... I can't wait.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

He wins again and again in a small congressional district. He has never run in a state wide election, never mind going national. If there was a cure for voter apathy on the left, RMoney just gave it to them.
