I don't have numbers on seniors and veterans right now, but the automatic "gimme" from veterans is not a sure thing anymore. Most of the veterans I've registered to vote in the last 2 months have said they are grateful to Obama for keeping his promise to bring them home, and they would never vote for Romney who wants to drag it out indefinitely for political gain. Seniors seem split depending on the state, but the more they hear about the Ryan plan and getting handed a voucher for their Medicare, the more votes he loses...
obama is losing among Veterans and those serving

Yeah, I guess they'd rather vote for the guy who dodged the draft multiple times.
This is the first time since the 1940s that neither the Republican nor Democratic nominee for president has served in the U.S. military.

Here is a possible answer to those important questions perplexing both the Romney campaign and the Republican Party.
The election is not just all about jobs and the economy. It is also about negative opinions and cultural issues that voters hold about Republicans in general.
Let me explain.
Here is a line of questioning I emailed a handful of friends and family spread across the nation, some in battleground states, whom I know voted for Obama in 2008 and I assumed were planning on voting for him again:
Are there any circumstances you can imagine that would cause you to vote against Obama and vote for Romney instead? Is there anything Obama could do or say? For example, how about a negative change in your personal job situation or if the unemployment rate reached 14%? Anything at all that would move you to change your vote away from Obama?
For the record, the demographics of this group are as follows:
All are in their 30’s and married, some have children. They are all white, college educated and gainfully employed.

Ryan will eat Biden for lunch in a debate... I can't wait.FredHayek wrote: Is Ryan really all that toxic? He wins again and again in a 50/50 district. Maybe when people form their own opinions rather than be spoon fed by the media, they might like him?
I do think Ryan would smoke Joe Biden in a debate. Pretty smart guy there.
