Actually I will be in Norway next month. They are doing very well, guess why? Not because of free tuition, it is because they are making billions off offshore oil reserves. Meanwhile, here in America, BHO continues to ban offshore drilling and opening up Alaska.

But back on topic, when you could have a smoke in a bar. If you were really concerned about your health, you wouldn't be in a bar in the first place doing shots.

When attended a Cal State in the '80's, I paid $350 a semester for as many unit as I wanted to take. UC's were $400...

College education cost is a good topic, why don't you start a thread VL and tell us why it costs so much in 2012? I never said it should be free, just affordable without taking on massive debt... like it used to be in the 80s. I don't have a problem with taxes funding public universities, around 50-50 would be fair I think.
