I read this thinking you might add a winking or smiley face to show you are joking.

But no. You demand proof from others on what they post, so how about showing us how much better you are by providing proof for your wild claims, specifically that Romney paid no taxes from 2000-2010.

And we already know Mitt paid taxes in 2010 because he provided evidence. So are you lying, or don't accept the evidence?

The documents he provided for 2010 were incomplete and not accurate. And he has totally refused to provide any documentation for the tax years 2000 - 2009. What is he hiding? And he even said that he would not pay taxes under the Ryan plan, even though he had income over $20 million.

Why won't he come clean?

Just as I thought, you have no evidence to support your claim Romney paid no taxes from 2000-2010. Still no link provided. And watching 60 Minutes tonight I see Romney says he'll go by his tax plan, not Ryan's. And specifically, how would Romney owe no taxes under Ryan's plan, not that it matters?

Read Ryan's tax plan. Ok, Romney would pay .82% rather than zero, but it is lkely with his offshore tax holdings that he would avoid even that. http://www.theatlantic.com/business/arc ... an/261027/

Romney has refused to provide the evidence that would show that he has paid income taxes. Why is that? Why would Romney pick Ryan except for his budget plan? What has Ryan ever done in his life that would justify his nomination? Drive the weinermobile?

OK, we agree you were wrong that Romney would pay zero.

And that link you provided provides no details on how they did the calculation. Ryan's plan does tax capital gains at zero, but it also eliminates most all deductions. And Romney had about $4.5 million of them in 2010. Did they consider that? I doubt it from what I read. But like I said, Romney is sticking with his plan which does tax capital gains, eliminates most deductions (they are called "loopholes" by the libs) for the higher income people, and he promises that the upper income will still pay at least the same percentage of total tax they do now. Not that I think he's explained enough details.

But the fact is Romney did release his 2010 taxes. 203 pages of them. It has all the major forms; the 1040, and schedules A, B, C, D, E, SE (alphabet soup).

http://www.taxhistory.org/thp/presreturns.nsf/Returns/8B6964A1E53D7EDC8525798F004F0B2E/$file/M_Romney_2010.pdf

From what he released, if he lied about any minor details, he would still get nailed. He is legally reponsible for what he released, unless you think he made that up too.

But not the forms detailing his foreign tax havens, which I am sure you would think a candidate for President should provide. Nor the forms from previous years that major candidates, including his father, have provided. What could he be hiding?

Again, he provided his 1040 plus 201 other pages. If he lied, he's toast. Prove it.

You sound like a birther.

Romney asked for more tax returns from Ryan than he is willing to provide to the America people, why is that?

The campaign team for Romney, the Republican presidential candidate, reviewed several years of tax returns from Ryan and others, according to Beth Myers, the head of Romney's vice presidential search process.

If it was that important for Romney to thoroughly vette the VP candidate, why does he think it isn't as important for the American people to vette the candidate for president? This issue is NOT going to go away.

It wouldn't go away even if he released them. Democrats that want to avoid talking about issues that actually matter would demagogue his returns no matter what they said. They love class warfare, and anything they can do to stop any debate about Obama or his poor economy, or the fact that he has no plans for the next 4 years is the goal.

I'm really looking forward to the Ryan/Biden debate though.....

Nice of Ryan to accept Romney's offer, I hope the Obamaites don't make life for his family a living hell.
