Paul Ryan - Government did not help?

13 Aug 2012 16:05 #21 by PrintSmith
No, Ryan is a product of the values instilled in him by his family, his community and his experiences acquired throughout his life. If Ryan was the product of government help then everyone who received that help would turn out as Ryan has - which is clearly not the case in which we find ourselves.

Taxpayer funded "assistance"? When is getting a paycheck for doing a job assistance? That would mean that people in the private sector get "business owner funded assistance"... never mind that both public and private workers benefit the people they work for. If anything, both workers are giving their assistance to those who are paying. And the SS fund he got is not taxpayer funded, it's funded by his father's SS payments. You really are getting in deeper here dog.

Where's your liberal friends to help you out?

Nope, according to the conservatives here:
NEWSFLASH: The government does not create jobs and the president does not create jobs. Jobs are created by private individuals and those private individuals are called JOB CREATORS!

Thus, since there are no government jobs, Ryan is getting taxpayer assistance. Ryan's success is from taxpayer funds, not "on his own" according to the conservative mantra. And obviously not from hard work since he has passed only two measly bills in 13 years living off the government.

You're smarter than this Dog - or at least I thought that you were. Are demagoguery and ridicule all that is left to you given that all reason seems to have left you?

How many years has ol Joe Biden been sponging off the government... he must be REALLY worthless using your logic.

Way to go Bill, a Republican can do no wrong as long as a Democrat has done the same. The difference is that it's the Republicans who whine about career government employees and politicians, not Democrats. Yet here they are singing the praises of a man who has been in govt most of his adult life and has very minimal experience in the private sector. That spells hypocrisy to me.

So did everyone else Bob. SDS used to show some intelligence even if his ideology was wacked, don't know what happened. LOL

I'd rather see people with executive and foreign policy experience too, however in this time period the budget and deficits are Job 1.

The economy may be job one...but not paying attention to global issues and foreign relations could be disastrous. The US does not exist in a bubble. I guess you conservatives have short memories...for 4 years there has been nothing but criticism of Obama's lack of business/ private sector experience. Yet here comes Ryan, running to be the VP, only a heartbeat from the presidency...and you all act like he walks on water. And he has far less experience than Obama.

Obama had zero foreign policy experience. And DOD Generals have stated our Fiscal situation is a national security threat! :)
