No, of course not, and I pretty much said that, I have just observed that when it comes to political polls, this board consistently gets it opposite of the outcome, so on that basis alone, I put forth that we specifically DON"T represent the US as a whole and thus can use this to predict the outcome.
I thought it would be Obama for a while, then I thought it was going to be Romney, once he picked Ryan, my prediction flipped again back to Obama - these are my predictions, neither will be getting my vote.
We know this is going to be all over the place, just look on this board and see what people consider important moment by moment. We are not dealing with anything even remotely logical, we are not thinking in proportion or about action-reaction. Our politics are like grocery shopping in the casino, I am just reacting in kind.
