The dems feel the need to apologize and say I am sorry to everyone, race, country, creed. For all the crap they Think they have done over the many years.
They really have No pride in being individual.

Their new motto is We are all for one and all alike.

Not a single individual soul in the group.

If that were true they would have all voted "aye" today.....but Democrats aren't, and they do disagree, and they aren't afraid to show it. And that's OK......I prefer that to the Republican party's platform that everyone agreed to which eliminated approving of abortion in the cases of rape, incest, and the mother's life. Yet people of supposed conviction like Conoleeza Rice don't speak up even though she is on record as being for a woman's right to choose. Talk about marching in lock step even when you feel your party is wrong. What made me angry today was they felt the need to amend their platform at all.

You're par for the course as an atheist and anti-Semite.

But I'm neither an atheist nor an anti-Semite.....you're batting zero twinnie. I believe everyone should have the freedom to choose what they believe, apparently you don't.

so you are answering for me? Gee thanks. No....I don't think there is much difference in the two parties, especially when it comes to economics. But just as you support the Republicans because on the whole they probably are closer to your beliefs, I support the Democrats. A couple of the deal breakers for me with Republicans are women's rights and the pushing of religion into places I don't believe it belongs. There are a few others, but on the whole, the differences between Dems and Reps are social, not economic. Neither party understands what a balanced budget means....and no, it doesn't mean cutting everything to the bone till the country squeals.

That is why the parties are so far apart in looks but in reality they are skipping down the merry lane hand in hand taking care of themselves.
We are not much different arch.
