Despicable Romney attack

Rmoney made a despicable attack on the President in order to politicize a tragic attack. President Obama made this statement this morning:
“I strongly condemn the outrageous attack on our diplomatic facility in Benghazi, which took the lives of four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens. Right now, the American people have the families of those we lost in our thoughts and prayers. They exemplified America’s commitment to freedom, justice, and partnership with nations and people around the globe, and stand in stark contrast to those who callously took their lives.

I have directed my Administration to provide all necessary resources to support the security of our personnel in Libya, and to increase security at our diplomatic posts around the globe. While the United States rejects efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others, we must all unequivocally oppose the kind of senseless violence that took the lives of these public servants.

On a personal note, Chris was a courageous and exemplary representative of the United States. Throughout the Libyan revolution, he selflessly served our country and the Libyan people at our mission in Benghazi. As Ambassador in Tripoli, he has supported Libya’s transition to democracy. His legacy will endure wherever human beings reach for liberty and justice. I am profoundly grateful for his service to my Administration, and deeply saddened by this loss.

The brave Americans we lost represent the extraordinary service and sacrifices that our civilians make every day around the globe. As we stand united with their families, let us now redouble our own efforts to carry their work forward.”

Rmoney attacked the President saying that:
“It's disgraceful that the Obama administration's first response was not to condemn attacks on our diplomatic missions, but to sympathize with those who waged the attacks"

Clearly this is another absolute lie, intended to inflame, without a single bit of truth in it. This is a guy who claims that he is qualified to be president, who uses a tragic attack to politicize the terrible tragedy that occurred in Libya in an attempt to gain a political advantage.

Despicable!

Maybe we can lock up any American who denegrates Islam... not only can we not yell fire in a crowded theater, now we must tip toe around the religion of peace. I'm sick and tired of the double standard where these animals can say whatever they want about whatever religion or people they hate, but God forbid their religion is mocked in any way, for that the punishment is always death. We need to stop apologizing... it accomplishes nothing but making us look even weaker in the eyes of these backward animals. Obama accomplished NOTHING in the ME with his peace tour. He only gave the wrong people more power.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Romney Launches Misleading Attack On Obama After Embassy Violence

The Romney campaign's statement seemed to be an attempt to capitalize on the appearance that the Obama administration -- which has overseen the Arab Spring, and the rise of Islamist governments in both Egypt and Libya -- was capitulating to the sensitivities of an unruly Muslim crowd, rather than backing the right of an American citizen to release a disrespectful film.

But the statement criticized by the Romney campaign came early in the day, before the attacks on the two embassies, and was put out not by the White House, but by the Cairo embassy itself.

The White House later disavowed the statement as not approved by Washington, according to a senior administration official speaking to Politico.

Obama campaign spokesman Ben LaBolt also commented on the statement from the Romney campaign. “We are shocked that, at a time when the United States of America is confronting the tragic death of one of our diplomatic officers in Libya, Governor Romney would choose to launch a political attack,” LaBolt said in a statement.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — An Israeli filmmaker based in California went into hiding after a YouTube trailer of his movie attacking Islam's prophet Muhammad sparked angry assaults by ultra-conservative Muslims on U.S. missions in Egypt and Libya.

Speaking by phone Tuesday from an undisclosed location, writer and director Sam Bacile remained defiant, saying Islam is a cancer and that the 56-year-old intended his film to be a provocative political statement condemning the religion. Bacile, a California real estate developer who identifies himself as an Israeli Jew, said he believes the movie will help his native land by exposing Islam's flaws to the world.

Gee, I thought Israeli Jews were SUPPOSED to be "our friends". Seems to me I've heard the usual carping from the Right that Obama wasn't showing himself to be a strong enough "friend" to Israel and our Jewish friends. So, yeah, I would guess that this inflammatory film was created by someone who part of a group that are supposed to be U.S. "friends."

Isn't it nice--and predictable--that RMoney would use the occasion to attack before all the facts are in. Mitt-the-Twit is extending his blooper-reel on "foreign policy" and showing us once again that the "Mitt-the-Twit" moniker is well-deserved, and that he is not ready-for-prime-time. Moron.

Gee, now it comes out that the man behind much of the financing for this inflammatory movie is none other than the same bat-sh*t-crazy religious wacko, Pastor Terry Jones of Florida...Yes, the same Terry Jones that burned a couple of Korans that resulted in the deaths of 9 people, and 70 other wounded the last time. So, now, he can add four more deaths to his list. And these people call themselves "christians"....

I think this is where someone else now jumps in and says something like "He's not a REAL Christian...", isn't it?

Amazing how people that think they are Christians are somehow able to discern when other people who think THEY are "christians" are lying. Folks handling snakes, drinking poison, growing beards to a certain length, marrying multiple wives, etc... But somehow, someone out there knows which ones are the REAL "christians" and which ones aren't...

And the collectivist refrain continues: The attacks by those who practice the religion of peace are perfectly understandable given someone said something they disagreed with. It is the other person, not those who practice the religion of peace, who are responsible for the violence done by those who practice the religion of peace. It is perfectly understandable that these practitioners of such a peaceful religion resort to violent outbursts instead of issuing statements which deplore the misrepresentation of their peaceful religion.
