Obama has no record to run on so he and his faithful have to publicly concentrate on Romney and do all they can to find, manufacture, and insinuate faults, wrong doing, and cheating.
Who knows what team Chicago is up to behind the scenes aside from the recently announced "lower" unemployment numbers.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford
Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus

Is that any different than Romney running as "not Obama"?
without the government support (which we know is a minuscule part of gov't spending) many rural public TV stations will go under.....Romney will hurt those very people/families that just last week he insisted he cares so much about. Romney really stepped in it this time, if you can't see that then your head is firmly planted in the sand. It might be amusing to see Big Bird bring down a presidential candidate.
Romney has the biggest night of his political career and all people are talking about is Big Bird

Just like a small bird in a nest it is time to let PBS and NPR fly on their own.

Big Bird and his buddies are generating $100 million a year. I think they can stand on their own.
