God, how I love the hypocrisy that you clowns keep crying about "smaller government"...as long as it isn't other people's bedrooms, other people's wombs, other people's right to marry whom they choose, other people's "appetites". The government is somehow invested in forcing every pregnancy to come to the desired outcome of YOUR "government"...But as soon as it's popped-out, IT--and the mother--are on their own.

Makes me want to puke.

Incorrect again, if you have appetites for sex with animals or underage boys, the citizens of this country have ruled that you will face penalties.

If you have appetites for booze that leave you falling down drunk on city streets, you might find yourself locked up too.

In fact, at one time, homosexual sex was a crime. So more incorrect platitudes.

Fred, your b.s. meter is registering "FULL"...

I'm not wrong... And the hypocrisy of the GOTP and wacko extremists, and their selective interpretation of what is, and is not, the "government's business" STILL makes me want to puke.

At Planned Parenthood, it's provided on a sliding scale based on the income of the person... If some tax-dollars go to that--GOOD... That means fewer people needing abortions.

I'm paying for a sh*t-load of military things to bounce-the-rubble that I don't want to pay for. I guess we all have to make sacrifices.

Wrong again. 2-2. That free birth control is costing my wife a 6% increase in premiums this year as her health insurance company has to pay for ACA mandates.
Such a deal. It would be cheaper to buy a case of condoms.

A pretty sure way to reduce the number of abortions is if irresponsible people would keep it in their damn pants.

Since the requirement for insurance-provided birth-control hasn't taken effect yet, your alleged "6% increase" for ACA requirements is so much bullsh*t. Insurance companies all over are sneaking through rate increases and blaming ACA for their own greed. This will stop soon when the rest of the ACA goes into effect...(Part of which limits insurance companies from making unreasonable unjustified rate increases.)

But thanks for playing.

Frankly, my dear, what people do is none of your g.d. business.

Problem is --- government has made it their business

I don't care who you sleep with. I'm not interested in regulating that.
Whatever you do behind closed doors is fine with me.

I simply ask that you do it behind closed doors (most people do), and not make
your choices my problem (I'm not really interested in paying for your birth control,
just as you're likely not interested in buying bullets for my hunting trip).

Why, are people ENTITLED to government-paid birth control?

As a parent, I do feel that my kids' sex lives is part of my g.d. business - at least
as long as they're living under my roof, on my buck.

I'm pragmatic enough to know that kids have sex. Frankly, I'm less interested in the morals of sex than the long-term costs/benefits of it.

I'd like my kids to go to college, earn a degree, and be positioned to chose a life-long partner. The earlier they begin their sex lives,
the less capable they are of doing these things.

Even so, there's nothing wrong with teaching the wisdom of waiting, and I do not see where they ought to be entitled to government paid birth control.

6%?, lucky woman. Before I went on medicare, my BC/BS policy was increasing at least 15%/year, and the last two years, this is before ACA kicked in at all it was 20%/year........and I couldn't change my insurance policy because pre-existing conditions meant I would have to re-qualify.... and, of course, I couldn't qualify.
