Good...Then you admit it has nothing to do with the Government.... Glad we got that out of the way....
What the insurance companies cover and don't cover is between the insured and the insurance company. They passed rules awhile back that PSA tests had to be covered. They passed a rule awhile back that mammograms had to be covered. They're covered... B.F.D. And if they pass a rule that says contraception will be a co-pay covered benefit, B.F.D. You don't want contraception? Don't use it. Other than that, it's between the insured and the insurance company...And it's none of your business.
Actually what the insurance companies offer or are mandated to cover was between the state insurance regulations and whoever was paying for the policy. (company or individual).
Now it is between the Feds, State, and whoever is paying. When a company is paying for most of the cost, they mostly determine the coverage. If you buy your own, you can somewhat purchase what you want, within the mandates of your state, and soon Federal mandates. Simple really. Just do what you are told.
If you want to be, press one. If you want not to be, press 2
Republicans are red, democrats are blue, neither of them, gives a flip about you.
Yes... It IS simple... You get your PSA tests paid for. I get my mammograms paid for. ObamaCare sees to it that seniors will get colonoscopies, bone-densitiy tests, and other wellness exams because it's cheaper in the long run to detect problems and address them than it is to try to treat them after it's too late. Insurance premiums have covered Viagra for several years...and I really don't care... And now it will cover contraceptives... You don't like it? I really don't care.
Yes... You are correct... If you get your PSA tests and Viagra through your insurance plan, it's not coming from "da Gub'mnt"...No matter now many times you regurgitate it... So, that's between you and your insurance company. I Really DON'T care.
If I get certain tests covered, and they add contraception to the mix, that's between me and MY insurance. You don't like it? I Really DON'T care.
Don't know how I could make it any plainer. And you are SO right....
The Viagra is produced and has a production cost. The PSA tests are produced and have a production cost. They are covered by your insurance premiums that you pay to your company. The cost is covered; or provided with a low-copay, (in the case of the Viagra). I don't care.
So, will the expanded coverage for contraception....
You don't like it? Your tax-dollars are not paying for it. I still don't care.
