Someone at the highest level of the United States government made the decision to abandon American consular staff to their fate and cede U.S. sovereign territory to an al-Qaeda assault team — and four out of five Sunday news shows don’t think it’s worth talking about.

In the smoking ruins of that consulate in Benghazi, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods fought for hours and killed 60 of the enemy before they were overwhelmed, waiting for the cavalry that never came. They’re still waiting – for Candy Crowley, David Gregory, Bob Schieffer, and George Stephanopoulos to do their job.

Right, the rest of the production is going to Italy.

Coming hot on the heels of speculation that some Jeep production may be moved to China comes a bombshell from a Bloomberg report. Fiat is now considering moving Chrysler and Jeep production to Italy.

According to the piece, "To counter the severe slump in European sales, (Fiat CEO Sergio) Marchionne is considering building Chrysler models in Italy, including Jeeps, for export to North America. The Italian government is evaluating tax rebates on export goods to help Fiat. Marchionne may announce details of his plan as soon as Oct. 30, the people said."

It's as "true" and "relevant" as the fantasy about "Someone at the highest level of the United States government made the decision to abandon American consular staff to their fate and cede U.S. sovereign territory to an al-Qaeda assault team ..." No matter how many times you repeat your Drudge-inspired crap, it still doesn't make it true.

And Elvis is alive, and having Dim Sum with Jimmy Hoffa on Mars...

And what does RMoney do when he's caught outright LYING by the Jeep company?... He doubles down and repeats it...louder...

And THIS is the moron you want to vote for?!?!

Give me a break....

Yeah, I'll mention it in this thread, because it's just more of the TeaBagger Fantasy-Land drivel....

We really need another Benghazi thread Bob?
What do you think Abu Garaib has to do with this?

As far as the lack of coverage, possibly the media (other than FOX) has decided to let the investigation take it's course and not use the death of 4 Americans and the safe delivery of a few dozen more for political gain.

The recent "Conservative" double standards are poisonous to this country.
-Imagine if two skyscrapers fell and a wing of the Pentagon went up in flames on the watch of a Democratic president.
-Imagine if that same President lied us into a war with a country that had nothing to do with the attack.
-Imagine if that same President told the country the war would cost $60 billion at most, and take a month, tops, and we would benefit from the oil produced there.
-Imagine if 12 embassies were attacked under this same president

And now "conservatives" are outraged at the way this administration is conducting the investigation of the death of four Americans in Libya?!

You demand perfection from Democrats, and not only excuse but vote for historically incompetent Republicans?

And then you have the nerve to be self-righteous about it?

I do remember several weeks of outrage about Abu Ghraub on every channel and in every paper. It was outrage over the "rights" of enemy prisoners. I would think that the protection (or lack of) for these dead Americans and the vacillating stories to follow would be worthy of the same amount of attention and scrutiny by that same media.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

A.G.? The Left loved that story because it tarred Bush and had disturbing images? Libya has more disturbing images but because it makes Obama look like his mind is elsewhere? Like at his campaign appearance in Sin City while a US diplomat dies by enemy hands. One more point: it was looking like Obama was keeping Al Quiada down but after seeing Mali Libya Egypt come under the control of terrorists I guess killing OBL was not enough.

Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.

If someone up high did nothing wrong, and that no rejection of support was given and no order to stand down was given, then explain why General Ham was relieved of command of Africom, Explain why Obama had the tapes of the incident classified Top Secret which keeps them from being viewed by a lot of members of Congress and the public. Explain why there was two AC 130U's flying overhead of the assualt, why Navy Seal Woods had laser lock on the mortar that was throwing rounds at them and the aircraft were told to stand down. THE GOD DAMN ADMINISTRATION FAILED, THEY ALLOWED GOOD MEN TO DIE BECAUSE SOMEONE IN THE ADMINSTRATION FAILED TO HAVE A LITTLE BACK BONE. WE (THE UNITED STATES) COULD HAVE PREVENTED THESE MEN FROM DYING BUT THE GOD DAMN ADMIN WOULD NOT ALLOW THEM TO HAVE SUPPORT. NOW SOMEONE OR A GROUP IS TRYING TO COVER THE BS UP AND NOT ALLOW THE REAL TRUTH TO COME OUT. WHAT THE HELL DON'T PEOPLE UNDERSTAND ABOUT THIS. AND YOUR DAMN RIGHT IN YOUR THOUGHT ABOUT ME AND THIS, I AM PISSED OFF THAT GOOD MEN DIED DOING THIER JOB, THAT COULD HAVE VERY POSSIBLY BEEN PREVENTED.
