Wow... Has the MJ law already gone into effect? The altered consciousness here is unbelievable.
I guess the usual morons haven't figured out that because of the hurricane and the destruction of the refineries in the area, there's a bit of a problem with the "job-creators" getting their product to the market.
Why don't you tell us which refineries were destroy on the East Coast becaase of Sandy... I'll wait (this should be good).
The move comes as experts warn that shortages in the city could persist for another “couple of weeks” as crews scramble to repair damage at several refineries knocked out of commission during Superstorm Sandy.
Damaged... not destroyed... there was not a single refinery destroyed. So were taken off line during the storm only to start up fine afterwards, there was at least one that was never shut down during the storm. Not a single one was destroyed.

Where is FEMA? Why aren't the National Guard and Active Duty personnel assisting the locals? Bush took it in the posterior over the same question over his administration's response to Katrina. Somehow Barry gets a pass?
Otis I still object to you avatar. It is an defacement of the flag.
Obama's FEMA continues to fail on the Sandy Recovery Effort. Now the international aid organization Doctor's Without Borders has deployed to Queens. This organization helps out in the most dangerous spots in the world, and looks like that includes New York's outer boroughs where the NYPD police are deployed to prevent battles over gasoline distribution. Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
Obama and FEMA have nothing to do with the refineries being repaired, and power turned back on to provide the electricity to run the pumps to pump the gas. They are already importing power workers from other states to speed up the process, and it's just going to take time.
But, you knew that. You just want to bellyache about the sun coming up in the morning....
Obama's hands off approach is making it worse. He is the king of commiting sins of omission. Hopefully the New York media start to blame Obama like they blamed "W" for Katrina.

One thing we can be thankful for is that under Obama's watch, the solar system has not suffered further massive cutbacks in the number of planets that it suffered under the Bush administration.

You'll rot in he11 waiting for it.
Obama is deeply involved in trying to remove barriers, and set expectations... You can set expectations all you want, but you can't make the wires reconnect faster than what it takes a technician to splice them back together...
The difference was, Bush didn't care... He delegated it to some moron who was more interested in photo-ops than performance...
Michael Brown and FEMA: Incompetence Personified
Michael Brown's qualifications for FEMA Director? GOP fundraiser and former FEMA head Joe Allbaugh's college roommate and close pal, and a commissioner for the International Arabian Horse Association -- (who was fired for incompetence).
