The White House announced the federal government will spend $6 billion over four years for a “sustainable energy future” plan with Asian countries that involves loaning tax dollars to other countries to increase their purchasing power for U.S. technology, services and equipment.

I can see why we would want to do this, Asian pollution travels to our west coast. If we could get them to use alternatives or even start using scrubbers on their coal stacks, it might be Americans who benefit.
The Chinese and Indians tend to burn the dirtiest coal because cost is more important to them than pollution despite Beijing having a huge smog problem.

You really should get your info from somewhere that a right wing echo chamber. The money is being loaned from the export-import bank which does not use taxpayer dollars, and in fact, gets a great return on it's loans. The money will be spent right here in the good old USA on USA manufactured products built by USA workers.
