Michigan Becomes A Right To Work State

The Rust Belt is on the mend! Most of the new jobs in the private sector have come in right to work states. So Michigan legislators and its Governor have passed this new law. Never thought I would see this in this union stronghold.

A worker's right to choose...GOOD! If it brings in more jobs to states that need them and raises liberal blood pressure, I'm all for it.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

So why didn't King Obama stop this from happening? Maybe he doesn't want to compete with organized labor while the Gubment takes over industry in the US. I wonder how he'll deal with the Mob...

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Right to work is about breaking unions. It is about making the rich richer. They will not bring jobs back to the US until we work as cheap as China . There will be fewer and fewer until we are so thankful to get a job making 90 cents an hour we will take it....

Weren't you 0% on how Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virginia were going to go for Mitt-Flop/Gov. Etch-a-Sketch and the TeaPublicans?

This is your brain on teabagger conservatism:

Actually I predicted Obama would win and was only off by 20 electoral votes.

Washed up journalists will have to settle for less.

Interesting that the some, not all, right to work states have the lowest unemployment.

IN NOVEMBER 2014, WE HAVE A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY TO CLEAN OUT THE ENTIRE HOUSE AND ONE-THIRD OF THE SENATE! DONT BLOW IT!

“When white man find land, Indians running it, no taxes, no debt, plenty buffalo, plenty beaver, clean water. Women did all the work, Medicine man free. Indian man spend all day hunting and fishing; all night having sex. Only whit man dumb enough to think he could improve system like that.” Indian Chief Two Eagles

When we did the math, we found that the unemployment rate in the 22 right-to-work states was 9.17 percent, compared to 9.65 in the 28 non-right-to-work states. (The national unemployment rate that month was 9.4 percent that month -- right in the middle.)

In any case, none of the economists we spoke to thought the gap was especially surprising, either now or historically.
