David Sirota No Longer At Clear Channel

07 Jan 2013 11:56 - 07 Jan 2013 13:26 #1 by FredHayek
I follow the liberal radio yakker's tweets and it looks like he no longer is working for Clear Channel Denver. (formerly on 760AM Air America and 630 KHOW.)(And was he moved out because he wasn't making enough for the radio station or because he didn't want to work for the evil Clear Channel anymore. His FB post about this doesn't burn bridges.)

You should add him to your Twitter feed, he ferrets out much more interesting and less slanted stories from his sources than others here. One example, a Salon piece about Obama's pick for Sec'y of Defense. Seems the defense contractors think he will trim the budget on new equipment aquisistions. Irony? The GOP anti-homosexual Neanderthal Senators want to attack him for a couple anti-gay comments and actions.

Kerry & Hagel's nomination battles will be interesting to watch and may determine how much Obama will be able to actually do in the next four years. If he loses these battles, he could become a Dead Man Walking.

The GOP won't go after Kerry....they want him out of the senate more than they don't want him as Secretary of State.

Of course, they're banking on Scott Brown being able to pick up his seat. And after the scorched-earth campaign he ran against Elizabeth Warren, I don't think he could win dog-catcher, much less that open Senate seat... But I sure hope he runs. It will guarantee that the Dem will win....

One fear in Dem circles per NPR, is that the Dems want to avoid a nasty primary fight for Kerry's seat, but a lot of Dems really would love this job. Very easy to get re-elected in MA if you are a lefty. So Barney Frank is trying to get support, along with Ben Affleck, and a long line of House members. After a bruising expensive primary, Scott Walker maybe able to just walk into the seat, especially because it is a special election which a lot of voters won't bother with.

How does the Governor of Wisconsin walk into a senate seat in Massachusetts?
