I don't have a problem with that sort of thing and realistically have little fear of the gun and so many on here seem frightened of. Once again, someone with an agenda hitting the fear button. It's hard to forget that those of us in rural areas have vastly different views of guns than those in very urban environments.

Or these druggies steal guns for buyback programs? No questions asked.

Most likely from each other, so the result is the same.

Unless of course if the media feels the need to tell everyone who has guns and who doesn't.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

One more reason that NY paper took down those names? NY passed a law making that information private.

Think some of the rich and powerful in NY don't like people knowing they have guns? Might make them look like hypocrites...

Serious responses only please

If a Tsunami hit Colorado, there would be no escape, especially since the waves of that size would not allow it. millions would be dead or severly injured, destruction would unimaginable.

Lets say Obama proposes a law that bans all guns, .22 caliber and up UNLESS it's just a single round weapon... any illegal weapon found in your possesion gets confiscated and you pay a fine (no jail, we wouldn't have enough room). The Dems mostly vote yes and the Republicans vote present as to not be shamed, as much, by advocating gun violence (the Dem narrative) AND to prove once and for all that it won't work.

So what do ya think... what would happen ? Would most people turn in their weapons, even if they were given a voucher for a single shot or maybe equal cash? And what do you think would happen with gun violence nationwide?

No need to get snarky here, I'm just looking for your honest opinion and reasoning. Thanks

1st most Americans would not even think about giving up their guns. Would not happen. I also do not believe that most of the law enforcement agencies would attempt to even try to confiscate those weapons, the fire fights that would ensue would be bad. If this was to happen, though I do not think it would, the violence would be that which has never be seen in this country.

You know there's people in congress (and possibly obama) who really do want a ban on all semi-autos but their quest too hold power is stronger than their ideology and principles.
