Glenn Beck has a new adversary in the form of the WWE

The conservative radio host slammed the organization earlier this week over their new Tea Party-inspired villain “Jack Swagger” and his racist manager "Zeb Colter." Beck, along with other conservatives, was offended by the portrayal, which he alleged "demonized" the Tea Party.

Appearing on Monday Night Raw last week, Swagger and Colter were booed by the crowd as they overzealously talked about the Constitution, the scourge of illegal immigration, and “true patriotism.” Other promotional videos of the two show them talking about freeloading immigrants and welfare recipients in front of the Gadsden flag, which has become symbolic of the Tea Party movement.

Wait a minute...I don't get it?!? We just watched a live Townhall meeting in Arizona with McCain two days ago, and the audience talked about: the Constitution, the scourge of illegal immigration, and 'true patriotism,' freeloading immigrants and welfare recipients... The only thing missing from the Townhall Meeting was the Gadsden Flag...(And god knows, we have enough other videos of the same teabagger folks standing in front of it, talking about the same things....)

So, I don't understand why Beck and the conservatives would be upset?...They just based a couple of characters on the real live xenophobic, anti-immigrant, 47%-hating constituency that is out there...

:smackshead: If the GOP has lost the WWE they will never win another election...or the WWE only has Dem fans who don't know wrestling is fake and Obama is over his head.

I dunno... Looks to me like if he antagonizes too many WWE fans, and too many Monster-Truck fans; and too many Tractor-Pull fans; too many gun-show fans; and too many NASCAR fans, sooner or later you guys are going to be in REAL trouble!...

(Oh, wait... You already ARE in real trouble...)

You never heard the term "typo"? It'll take me about 10 seconds to find 3 pages full for the Righties... Oh heavens!! Alert the spelling-police!

(Of course there is also a WWWF "World Wrestling Federation"), but yep... That typo from "WWF" to "WWE" must have been a deliberate alteration on my part...

 lol :rofllol

So, we now return you to the original question of the OP, which was: "So, I don't understand why Beck and the conservatives would be upset?...They just based a couple of characters on the real live xenophobic, anti-immigrant, 47%-hating constituency that is out there..."

Which of course, I never expect an answer to... It's much easier to just deflect, and insult the original poster, since the knuckle-draggers don't have anything else.

Actually, the deliberate alteration was to the title of a quoted article in huffingtonpost as if that was the title. When I see something in quotes I expect the original to look the same. Just sayin'.
