Just wondering what it is you are starting to understand. Is it that there are a lot of ignorant republicans or that there are more ignorant democrats.

Unfortunately I think that there's plenty of ignorance and self indulgence to go around in both parties. It seems to me that the prevailing attitude amongst the many is that "as long as it isn't hurting me I don't care one way or the other." In the meanwhile the collective "we" have set the fox loose in the chicken coop for a second time but few seem to be alarmed about it.
