Coffman is no longer my problem, and I wasn't working in the campaign to defeat him...if you want to go there.
Outfall of stupid new guns laws so far; loss of money making manufacturer and probably its local raw material suppliers (hundreds of employees, 10s of millions in revenues), people cancelling hunting trips to Colorado (a 1.8 billion dollar state industry, probably losses to the state of 100s of millions in revenue), cancelled program that gives state free advertising on the Outdoor Channel (unknown negative economic impact, but will contribute to those already listed). These are just the first few brought to you by the business friendly Gov. and the majority of freedom hating Democrats in our state. When your Obamacare increases exceed 30 to 40% premium increases, their plan to make nearly all of us poor, seems to be working well.
There are 64 counties in our state with 62 sheriffs as the highest form of law enforcement and they unanamously agree the new laws are a violation of our constitution and unenforcable due to imbecils writing laws without any knowledge of how things work. The burden of proof lies with law enforcement, not the magazine owner.
Feel good laws that solve nothing, but cost our state 100s of millions.
The time for law suits, recall elections, etc. are here.

The real question is, are there enough voters in Colorado who understand the ramifications of these stupid laws? Will our media inform the uninformed? I doubt it.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
A gunsmith called into KOA today to explain how stupid the magazine ban is in his line of work. If you bring in your malfunctioning gun you can't include the magazine to help diagnose the problem. And many times the magazine is the issue.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
Because magazines are not serialized......and date of fab not linked......what......silliness E100000. In addition once serialized.....if ever, the numbers can easily be ground away......the police certainly have better things to deal with....if not we need to cut the forces back.

Since they were pulled, I didn't lose. How's that 5 for 5 workin' for ya?
They were pulled because they didn't stand a chance of passing. Count it any way you want, you still don't have two of your feel-good-do-nothing-unenforceable laws on the books.

This is a good test.
I think they will be able to prove this was a straw purchase. She needs to spend a very long time behind bars. Did she report her newly purchased firearm stolen?

Several of the others that were passed will face a pretty stiff constitutional test. You have to wonder what were the Governor and some of the other dems promised in back room deals with the Obama administration.
