Welfare People Getting Cash at ATM's in Strip Clubs Still OK

Funny, it seems you are always happy to spent someone else's money.

Ever seen a bond issue passed that was based on a trigger where the money wasn't distributed because the trigger didn't happen? Neither have I.

They've come to the well too many times...I'm going to vote against this one. They've played the "It's for the children" theme once too often.

In the meanwhile, why help those who need help? Clearly it's better to support the current agenda, no matter if it's right or wrong.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

They're taking public money - It's everyone's business how they spend it. If they don't like that, they can go out and get other money to spend on strippers.

And, if they have enough to spend on strippers we're giving them too much.

No. Eliminating fraud and waste should be a high priority for everyone.

Backers, if you want a rec district move back to a front range city.

Sorry, I've been up here longer than most and I want this...that statement holds no water with me. Change IS going to happen, why not be a part of it an help direct it? That is unless you're a hermit and/or anti-social.

Then you pay for it. I won't. It has nothing to do with "anti-social"...(nice try, but that dog won't hunt). It has to do with the fact that I don't owe someone else a "recreational experience" when there's a whole area up here with trails, mountains, parks and camping areas...for free. (And I'd be willing to bet that I've been here longer than you...not that it makes a damned bit of difference.)

Strip clubs are not recreational?

LadyJazzer wrote: The fact that they have already received the money, and qualified for it, means that after it's in their hands, it's theirs to spend how they wish...

No it's not. It's meant for certain things like food, clothing, shelter, transportation... not for gettiing yer rocks off. There should also be a limit on the ATM fees. If the ATM charges too much, you get no cash.

LadyJazzer wrote: You want to go after "waste, fraud and abuse", why don't you spend some time at the Defense Contractors... You can find BILLIONS there in minutes.

Sounds good, we can look there too. It needs to be done in all areas.

Qualified? Even if they did it fraudulently by not disclosing all assets and income streams? Luckily more States are clamping down on these abuses. Too bad the feds and other States continue to ignore the fraud.

I'm still waiting for that PROOF of how many people are using their "welfare money" in strip clubs? Source please?

I just skim over the rude and ugly stuff.

Quuick question, don't you have to pay a cover charge to get into a strip club?

There are a couple of nasty posters here. To be fair, LadyJazzer isn't alone. It would be fair to close the ATMs in strip clubs if it were ascertained that another was available 24/7 within walking distance. Could we all agree on that?
