I don't think for one minute the GOP is doing this to find out what happened, this is simply an attempt to discredit Obama and Hillary (most especially) for something that has happened on the watch of many Presidents and Secretaries of State.....mistakes are made, intelligence misread or not responded to quickly enough, conflicting stories put out before all the facts are in.....and it will happen again and again, but apparently if it happens on the Republicans watch, as it has in the past......the Republicans in Congress let it pass.......I will be interested to see how the GOP keeps this alive for 3+ years. Unless, of course, Hillary decides not to run for President.....then they will let it go.

Last two US ambassadors killed? Under Carter and under Obama. Good job President Clinton, you didn't lose any ambassadors to enemy action!

Oh, now I get it......as long as the Ambassador isn't killed there is no outrage, you will let it pass if only embassy employees are killed in a terrorist attack

2002: U.S. Consulate In Karachi, Pakistan, Attacked; 10 Killed, 51 Injured. From a June 15, 2002, Chicago Tribune article:

Or maybe it is because in Karachi we did the best we could in the situation, like the Iranian Embassy and the hostages, unlike Benghazi where we stood down rather than helped? And afterwards, let the Libyan goverment stall the investigation into the deaths.

These people WORK FOR US, not the other way around. Just like Watergate, we should not stand for being lied to by our employees and if it takes these kind of hearings, so be it. If you can't see attempts to decieve, your partisanship has blinded you.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

It's pretty disgusting that the conservatives are making the deaths of 4 Americans serving their country more important than the other Americans who served their country and died just because these four can be exploited for political gain.

I find your myopia to be pretty amazing. Is there nothing you will not turn a blind eye towards?
