$5M wasted here, $5M wasted there, eventually adds up to real money. (Based upon a conservative estimate of $2500 each).

Bookkeeping error? I wonder who is using them now? Maybe they let the Los Zetas walk them across the border. They wold have a great need for encrypted radios.

No biggie deal. As long as they are democrats they can piss away trillions of dollars because their hearts are pure.

It is not partisan. I believe the same is true of republicans.

Speaking of partisan this is something that even a brain dead left wing zealot zombie should be able to crack a chuckle about.

After all, what difference does it make?

Don't count on getting any chuckles from the left on that one... more likely to get blasted for encouraging the imaginary "war on women".

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

No worries. EVERYONE knows that being a liberal and having a sense of humor are mutually exclusive.

Yeah, if they weren't too busy monitoring phone calls <evil grin>

Seriously, the potential problem is what whoever now has the radio may be able to listen to, depending on whether USM has changed the encryption code or not.

And of course, the minor detail of around $5M worth of equipment lost.

Nothing to worry about here, just a typical day in guv'mint.
