Instead of trying to pass off phoney numbers from phoney sites as facts, just shut up and listen to this fact Pinegrass...A 27 year old who makes 50k usually only has a taxable income of around 25k, and that guy will get the Bronze Plan for free

UC Berkeley is a "phoney" site? :rofllol
And wrong again, Poindexter. The income for calculating the subsidy is the modified adjusted gross income, which is usually the same as your adjusted gross income (not that you would have a clue about any of this).
This income is before you subtract exemptions and deductions. It is not your taxable income.
Not that a 27 year old would have their income drop from 50k to 25K even with exemptions and deductions anyway. For 2013 the personal exemption is $3900 and the standard deduction is $6100 for an individual which comes to $10k, not $25k. But like I said, that $10k doesn't apply anyway to the adjusted gross income.

I've been doing taxes since you were in diapers Pinegrass...And obviously I haven't studied the ACA as thoughly as you have because...??? I have a life outside of message boards debates- and I already have gold star union negotiated health insurance for life.
But like you said...The numbers don't come out until October 1, so anything you post is pure speculation and I don't normally even waste my time thinking about right wing, doom and gloom, the sky is falling propaganda and spectulation..How many times do you think you Rightwingretards can be wrong about things before people stop listening to you alltogether? Cause youre going on like 800 things in the past 10 years now.. 0-800- Youre the guy at the race track that loses every race but still thinks people want to hear what he thinks about the next one..

Yeah, you've got more a life outside of message boards more than me with 10,600 posts here (including 285bound) for you compared to my 2400.
That's funny!
And I'm not a right winger, nor a tea partier.
UC Berkeley is a right wing source? Wow, where do you stand compared to UC Berkeley then?
And I'll put my tax expertise next to yours any day. While I'm an engineer, I've volunteered for many years to prepare peoples taxes for free. I've done hundreds of them. No complaints so far...
I'm not interested in being involved in a tax expertise contest with you, I like to golf and gamble and I want all my friends and nieghbors to have health care, and i'm really glad to see the worst, most inefficient healthcare system in the world get a little better for a lot of people.

When I was 23 (in 84) I made about 50k, had a wife, 5 year old daughter and owned a big house/mortage in Chicago...
When all was said and done, my taxable income was like 12k..They didn't take anything out of my pay checks (claimed 7 exemptions) and I still got money back..
