I agree, especially when it comes to people who hate us, even when we try to help them. We should help our friends and let our enemies deal with their own probems. We could help the Syrian rebels take out Assad... then what? (see Libya, Egypt, Afghanistan)... we are getting played.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

In an important development yesterday, the Russians have agreed the site of the attacks needs to be checked out. Seeing the wrapped victims of the gas attacks was very sad.

Russia is also suggesting, once again, that the opposition is responsible for the chemical attacks. I don't expect the Syrian government to cooperate in either case.
