how democrats see republicans

So we are bookburners? Just saw a story today about a bookseller who refused to stock Rush Limbaugh's kids books despite them being on the bestseller list. Sounds like censorship to me. Irony? Her bookstore was doing poorly. Maybe she should sell what the people want?

Thanks for the reminder, we are so much better off now under King Barry... BTW, GITMO is still open for business.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford

Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus

Here's a truthfull one... how a prominent Democrat sees a Republican woman who wants to be the first woman senator of Iowa.

The retiring Senator from Iowa said last week that he doesn't want his seat to go to Ernst just because she's "really attractive and she sounds nice," Harkin said at the Story County Democrats' annual fall barbecue, according to footage obtained by Buzzfeed News published Sunday night.

"I don't care if she's as good looking as Taylor Swift or as nice as Mr. Rogers, but if she votes like Michele Bachmann, she's wrong for the state of Iowa," Harkin said

Kind of like so many on the right saw saw Sarah Palin... point out her looks, then tear her to pieces. www.cnn.com/2014/11/03/politics/tom-hark...index.html?hpt=po_c2

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Rick, I believe there are double standards galore on both sides of every issue. That doesn't make any of them above reproach. Perhaps we should consider starting a thread on Right and Left "conundrums". Or maybe Right and Left "faux pas". Or maybe Right and Left "paradigms". This thread, and its "sister" thread on how Republicans view Democrats is a start, but I guess I'd be more for one that addresses how we might be able to help minimize these kinds of remarks in the first place, if only from a perspective so many of them are taken out of context (not saying this one was or wasn't) by both sides and used in some of the crappiest ways anyone can imagine especially during political campaigns.
