Sort of like the way I used to play Rugby? If we were going to lose that day, I was going to give the other team some memories, like bruises.

As much as it pains me to admit it, I think now is the time to make the 17% Gubment slim-down painful. Even better, let's place the blame and the source of the pain on the elected leaders that are responsible for it - Barry and Harry need to be shown the door by way of impeachment.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Even though I believe they are all guilty of doing this,

The House of Reps approved funding bills to keep the government running. The only thing they did not do is approve funding for obamacare. Now the Senate refused to even vote on any of those. So the government could have continued except for Harry Reid and his agenda. They could have kept it from shutting down. So the remarks that it is all the Republicans is false. Its all of them, of course the liberal media won't talk about that. I hope that all of them get removed from office. They should also revoke amendment 27 to the constitution. Cause they should be docked a days pay for everyday there is not a balanced budget.

Wow have to agree navycpo7 and I am not a Dem or Repub. It is all of them. But with the bias on the liberal networks you will never see it. So the next best thing is for it to hit the taxpayer big time in the pocketbook so that they go to the polls and vote in a person who represents their views.

Unfortunately though I hear a kicking the can down the road coming.

I think I would be one of those people in the polls who says they are happy with the way things are. At least with all their infighting they aren't monkeying with passing other laws considering they can't manage what they have now.
