If this has any long term consequences, don't most folks just remember the president that was in place when it happened?

I mean geez, if the two wars did not sink the R's, this smaller issue shouldn't.

The Tea Party has ruptured the R's and what is the MARKED difference is this......the infighting
within the R party has created an IMAGE/CREDIBILITY gap to the rest of the global players
(OTHER governments/world leaders).....THEY are aghast at the ego-centered "scorch the earth
and poison the wells" attitude....it is RECKLESS and scary. JMO.....but, Chrisitine Legaurd IMF
stated the same thing......the global economy is at stake and the Tea Party/R's/ are playing
some pretty scary poker.
