The Obama administration fixes ACA website - it's fine now

Re: Medicaid, Anyone over 55 who lets the state force them into Medicaid based on means testing (income ) had better research the "Medicaid estate recovery" laws first. I doubt they will highlight that on the application. For them, medicaid services may not be free, but potentially a loan against their estate at death. Just something to understand, although I doubt anyone does.

Anyone catch Obama's sales pitch for ACA yesterday? He should do ads with Flo the Progressive girl, or Geico the Gecko.

Sounds like the companies are going to throw the US government under the bus, our section works great but the Feds failed to do enough beta testing.

Well... as I listen to the the testimony and the statements by Democrats and Republicans one of the first things I noticed was that the standard "put down" that I have heard coming from the left about the physical make up of the Republican party as "old, pasty white men" is very appropriate for the other side/ Democrats have a a rather large contingent of old, pasty white men themselves.

Maybe we need to vote out all of the old, pasty white men on both sides. Great campaign slogan.

It's funny how the contractors all say they're individual projects worked fine individually, but they obviously didn't all work together to make sure it really worked as a whole.

This is EXACTLY like the ACA itself which was written by many but read together as a whole by NONE. Anyone who is surprised when the ACA proves to be unworkable is an idiot imo. Likewise, if it actually works as promised, I will admit to being the idiot. The only way I see it "working" is if the penalty/tax is as high as the premium itself. But then again, it would not be as promised and there is no possible chance that people as a whole will save money... certainly not $2500 for the average family.

I am enjoying watching Frank Pallone (D-NJ) going off the rails... what a whining little bitch.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

I wish that all the committee members would just stick with tech and bureaucratic question on how software got rolled out and forget the campaigning.

I'm actually surprised that there have been a good number of Democrat committee members who are really concerned with the software roll out.

But the idiots on both sides who are just concerned with the politics stink up the whole hearing.
