I'm all for single payer health care in this country. The progressives didn't have the balls to cut their ties to big money, big business and wall street and actually do something helpful for all the folks that need health care.

And my whole interest in this fustercluck is the healthcare.gov website and my interest is coming from someone who has been programming for over 30 years and spent 15 year of that time working as a programmer for the department of energy.

I knew this website was going to be a mess before it even went live. Now that's it's gone live I know for sure it's a mess.

I really don't care for, or support the politics from either side in regards to health care. So like I said... go play with Fred for a while.

If you want to talk information technology in regards to this issue, then I'll kvetch computerese with you... otherwise stop harassing me... it's getting boring.

I love it when progressives pull out the "single payer card". Simple two words, but not one person has ever defined in detail. Tax rate, formula for determining payments to providers, plus the simple fact the government has no authority to insert itself as a single payer. The private system could and probably would continue for those with $$$. Sounds simple and it is far from it in our country. The problems implementing it and collecting the money are not trivial.

Medicare limps along now because higher payments from insurance are feeding the system and sustaining it, compensating for very low medicare payment rates.
