Whoa - slow down the buggy B
No one forced me to do a thing. I live in the district. I care. But I don't care for your commentary that appears to be motivated by personal interaction you and your family have had with the department. You and Wind Peak need to get together and have a picnic.
Perhaps you could provide some link that states I have had any personal interaction with Elk Creek?
I stand in support of a district that needs to buy equipment to serve it's citizens. Pure and simple.
I have lived in the area for more than 25 years. I have many many friends who live in areas that spam 8 fire districts.
All these districts work closely together to provide adequate service to the entire area most especially ELK Creek where my own personal district is concerned.
NO WHERE have I stated anything negative about Elk Creek with the exception of a mailer I, as well as many Park County residents received, in regards to voting on this issue.
I did have an issue with potentially paying taxes for services that I would never receive. That issue was cleared up. (you must have missed that as well as a good deal of this entire thread.)
I have had personal interaction with WindPeak and I simply don't appreciate her trashing good people or friends due to whatever personal beef she might have.
Perhaps it might help you to read a little slower hon. Comprehension is higher that way.
