AS much as people don't want to be like Europe, I do like the fact many countries over there have more than two parties. The power ebb and flow seems smoother, comprise and negotiated policies seem to moderate as a whole. The problem is that each of our two parties have a fringe that the candidates play to in the primaries and then the ALL run to center for the general election. Our two party system has been abused by the two parties. The play games that create division and drive us away from compromise and unity as a country. It's broken. If you think you party is not at least 50% responsible, then you yourself bear the burden of this failure.

Period,
The nice/nasty thing about Europe is that if you don't like your leader, you can get rid of him and not have to wait out the term. It would be quite interesting to see how the US would have been run differently. In 2006, Bush replaced by Pelosi? In 2013, Obama replaced by Boehner?

DR but, but that's the only thing Obama knows how to do is talk. He doesn't have any other skills.
As for a different kind of President, isn't that how we ended up with Obama? His claim of hope and change? Some people, not the people on this board, don't look past the nice looking face and smooth talk.
Obama is cool...I wonder if the people will decide in 2016 that they want one with more passion, like Christie and/or Hillary.
Someone who doesn't suffer fools gladly and gets in the face of opponents, instead of Obama who just seems to sulk and withdraw.
