errr, can't say that...

Happy, errr, that might offend someone...

How about...

Enjoy a day in the beautiful mountains, with maybe a bit of snow, and the companionship of some of your loved ones!

Hope that didn't offend anyone, but if it did, TS!

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Did our last minute shopping at the mall yesterday and I said thank you and "Merry Christmas" to all the checkout staff after buying stuff and they all pretty much ignored me every time, probably too stressed out and tired. Wonder if it is a policy or something?

Went to Kings yesterday - what a zoo! Cars completely filling the 1stBank parking lot as overflow for Kings. The inside of the store was just as bad. Wall to wall people, jammed aisles, you get the picture. Didn't run into any grumps. Squeezed past folks with a smiling "Merry Christmas" and got the same in return. Commiserated with others on how crowded the aisles were and how bare the shelves, laughed together with "Have a good holiday". Employees were slammed with requests, mine included, and the fellow who was helping me find Hawaiian bread was jovial, helpful, and said he'd be glad when it was all over but wished me a "Merry Christmas" as we found the bread (with the additional help of a deli person).

Whatever people celebrate, I wish you the very happiest of that celebration. And from me and my house,
