And the events turn quickly...

Ukrainian president reportedly flees Kiev for Kharkiv... or maybe someplace else?

This is actually becoming more serious than it was two days ago. It appears that the compromises that the Yanukovych government made was just a smokescreen to bide some time.

And I suspect with the Olympics almost over, Putin has a new game on.

Russia is now calling the new Ukraine government "Mutineers". Think we will see an invasion?
On a side note, looks like Russian security forces did keep the Sochi games terrorist free.

No kidding. I was so concerned that Pussy Riot was going to blow up the whole stadium.

Russia is now issuing Russian passports to Crimean residents. The Crimea is considered Ukrainian.

Will Russia be allowed to occupy the Crimea by Europe and the US?
I believe it will be allowed to happen and the only response will be some sanctions and sternly worded letters. Europe is too dependent on Russia's oil and natural gas.

ALL here may want to read a bit of Ukranian history.......Russia will IMHO NEVER permit the Ukrain currently taken over by Faciests (no not innocent protesters Sheepel) supported by our CIA.......as in NEVER. This is just a continuation of WWII....Hitler lost as I recall and Stalin was permitted after Yalta to gobble up most of Eastern Europe (Patton was one of the few that wanted to settle the scores with Stalin in 1945). Putin cannot permit NATO to occupy a state adjacent to the Russian border. IMHO he will indeed invade the Ukrain and we will do nothing. Recall Russia has thousande of nuclear weapons and many pointed at Denver area I would guess . Also Russian ballistic missile subs are certainly patroling off our coasts with enough firepower to turn USA into a dust pile.

OK...if you were Obama Cakes what would you do........NOTHING ....he is trapped again. PUTIN won the IRAN standoff, Syrian Standoff.....and controls the energy supplies to Europe to a great extent. USA has a weenie for a leader.......bend over Sheeple and grab ankles......but get out of the malls.

BREAKING NEWS......CNN.....Putin has taken control of Crimea(yes, I know it is a warm water

And what did our administration call it today? A “uncontested arrival." That would be like the US arriving at two airports Cuba, shutting the airports down, putting troops on parts of the Cuban boarder, setting up roadblocks in the interior of Cuba, taking over the Cuban seat of government and turning off the local Cuban telephone and TV system.

What would the Cubans do... stomp their feet?

At least Obama is getting better at this foreign policy stuff. At his 2 minutes news conference this afternoon he remembered not to set any red lines.

That's an improvement. You may as well not say something that you are unwilling to back up.

I'd like to know who the Obama wordsmith is... friggin clown posse.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
