Construction is 5-7% of our economy....that is a lot of people out of work.

Population will be growing....unless we drive business out of state. They need homes, schools, libraries, which brings the need for highways, shopping centers, etc.

I guess we shall see...well, I won't, since if this passes I most likely will be moving to wyoming.

My desire is to be more like New Jersey. Cut costs that are on autopilot while making our state extremely desirable for businesses to move here, due to our growth and potential for profits.

If it were really that simple, would business groups across Colorado be spending a lot of money to fight this? Now is not the time to be spending $$ UNLESS it will be very bad for the business climate in Colorado.

What business groups are against this?

BearMtn, the only business groups that are opposed to any of this are the ones doing business with the government, and don't want the cash cow teat to dry up. If people had bothered to attend the 285 TEA Party meeting last night at Beaver Ranch they would have heard from several knowledgeable and informed candidates and citizens on these issues.

This is a speech that was made at the 285 Corridor Tea Party on Aug 18th, it bears repeating!

A gift of Divine Providence by our creator…
The founding fathers believed that they were guided in their legislation by the hand of their creator…

And I believe our creator inspired this gift as well…

This gift is the gift to restore our Colorado Government!
And put them back in their shackles that we, as a people, placed upon our government in the form of TABOR.
To prohibit them from their financial irresponsibility!!

I’m speaking of Amendments 60, 61,and Proposition 101

We, as a people passed and entered into our State Constitution the “Taxpayer Bill Of Rights” or “TABOR”.
Ever since then, our unscrupulous politicians our “Progressive” Government Unions, our Backstabbing government workers who control spending, have spent every waking hour…, every SLEEPING hour…, plotting and scheming of ways to get AROUND TABOR!


We have been given a GIFT,
The GIFT of RESTORING TABOR!!

Please DON’T WASTE THIS GIFT!!!


When your Creator asks you to stand up---

When Hillery and Bill tried to shove their health care bill down our throats the FIRST time, we reacted by electing Republicans to the House of Representatives to a majority for the first time in FORTY YEARS!!!---remember that???
If you are as old as I am you remember that the first budget that the new majority proposed included real CUTS in the Federal Budget…


Did Congress cut “special projects”??,
Did they eliminate worthless Federal Departments??
Did they cut waste and abuse??
Did they cut PORK ??

Attend your Local School Board Meetings and ask what they intend to do to DEFEAT 60,61 & 101???

If they are going to allow campaigning on school grounds, at Football Games, at Basketball games, or ANY other function than DEMAND EQUAL TIME!!

DEMAND that we will be allowed to Campaign FOR 60,61 & 101-- or you will SUE!!!


Then, go there, set up tables, Just like THEY WILL!!

If they set up tables at King Soopers or at ANY other Business, Then DEMAND that you too MUST be allowed to set up tables!!! You MUST DEMAND IT!!!

Take copies of these amendments to other groups & Tea Parties!!

Take this speech if you want to, and give it to whomever might be voting---

President Reagan had a plaque, on his desk, that said “There is no limit to what you can accomplish if you don’t care who gets the credit”

Donate time, or money, or BOTH, to groups campaigning FOR these Amendments—

GOOGLE them, they’re not hard to find!

Ask your local political Precinct Representative, Republican, Democrat, Libertarian,…whatever…what are they doing to PROMOTE 60, 61, 101???

Ask your County Commissioners—
Ask your State Representatives—
Ask the Candidates running for November---
SUPPORT the TAXPAYER!!!

LJ, changing your view would be like changing Al Gore (the human carbon stain on the skivvies of the world), don't even try.

As would changing YOUR view...

LJ, wants higher taxes, this country is going brunkrupt, all the while people like LJ are just adding gas to the fire...not having a clue what they are voting for..just because republicans are looking out everyone in Colorado..liberals will vote against it..

My view is freedom, you think what you want, I'll think what I want, but I won't try to impose my way of life on others as the current administration, and many past administrations is doing.
