I want more from our government.

OH PLEASE......The government is procuring 2,400 F-35 at cost of 4 BILLION DOLLARS.....but,
OH BY THE WAY....our infrastructure, both physical and cyber is OBSOLETE and in dire need
of revision...for security of this nation.....I'd say THAT'S a little myopic and moronic.....JMO

Sounds like you two agree. You both want more from out government. You want better management of funds and services.

Guess my point was THIS......government NEVER has done anything logical or forward thinking,
they will tell you that the Striker IS forwarding thinking, that it far surpasses anything anyone
has out there (allies, enemies alike)....BUT it's a huge flying computer and we all know how easy
hacking is to some "geek' OR an expert in espionage.......it's a friggin nitemare of electronics
that some human can f*** up......in a flash. JMO

As long as it's not based on a Windows XP platform, we're good to go. We've still got security updates available.

On that we agree. That is exactly why my underlying point of view is that we need to reduce the size and scope of government. As long as they have the power to legislate economic success and failure and the power to reward bureaucratic failure with bonuses nothing will change untill we can make saints as fast as we can print $.

BB...it's my belief THAT wish will only happen when there is a COMPLETE house cleaning of our
government....meaning the masses stand up and say NO MORE....and they take a stand. I
came of age in the 60's and the masses DID stand up....the impeachment of Nixon was the end
game of Watergate....I wasn't politically inclined back then,BUT I was witness to those who WERE
and it was a sight to behold....the government VS. the people....it was a moment in time that
I have NOT seen since....(sadly).

I agree with you. That is why both parties invest so much in slandering the Tea Party.

"Audit: More Than 57,000 Await First VA Appointment
WASHINGTON June 9, 2014 (AP)
By MATTHEW DALY Associated Press
Associated Press
More than 57,000 U.S. military veterans have been waiting 90 days or more for their first VA medical appointments, and an additional 64,000 appear to have fallen through the cracks, never getting appointments after enrolling, the government said Monday in a report newly demonstrating how deep and widespread the problem is.

It's not just a backlog issue, the wide-ranging Veterans Affairs review indicated. Thirteen percent of schedulers in the facility-by-facility report on 731 hospitals and outpatient clinics reported being told by supervisors to falsify appointment schedules to make patient waits appear shorter.

The audit is the first nationwide look at the VA network in the uproar that began with reports two months ago of patients dying while awaiting appointments and of cover-ups at the Phoenix VA center. A preliminary review last month found that long patient waits and falsified records were "systemic" throughout the VA medical network, the nation's largest single health care provider serving nearly 9 million veterans."...

Horrible VA numbers continue to be exposed, but it looks like the public has already moved on. Obama threw Shineski out and Barack's poll numbers bounced back to 45% approval.
