Illegal Immigrant Children Crowd The System

Talk of amnesty and the Dream Act has inspired children from all over Latin America to risk their lives crossing the border. Officially Team Obama is saying the children are fleeing crime in their countries, but promising them citizenship and college has turned our Border Guard into a daycare center.

Not just our Border Guard...the military is involved, too.

De-facto Amnesty without a vote. Already pro-bono lawyers are stepping up to get these children who don't have documents declared citizens instead of being shipped home.

We must change the slogan on the Statue of Liberty so it doesn't invite more of the wretched refuse yearning to breathe free.

We should also extinguish her lamp that is lifted beside the golden door.

This is no longer that America.

More people immigrate legally to the US than any other nation, so why do so many people insist on doing it illegally? Pretty unfair to the people who are willing to jump through the hoops, don't you think?

How is it unfair if the people doing it legally get in anyway?

Sure they have to go through more hoops but they become naturalized citizens in the process.

I am all for increasing legal immigrantion. Legal immigrants are more likely to start small businesses and hire Americans.
I am against a policy that rewards people for breaking our laws and encourages them to risk the lives of themselves and their children.

Just another ridiculous post. Nowhere has President Obama promised citizenship and college to recent juvenile illegal aliens. Why do you post such lies?

These migrant children are not eligible for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, what’s called the DACA process, or pending immigration legislation," a senior Obama administration official said Sunday, emphasizing similar comments last week from Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson.

"We ask families and communities to think twice before sending their children on this very dangerous journey. This is an important factor in thinking about how to address this problem," the official said.

Meanwhile the House GOP has stalled AGAIN on an Immigation Reform Bill. No passage in June means they will prolly not have anything before midterm elections.

In order for a juvenile immigrant to take advantage of the DACA, the child must have been in the US continuously since 2009 as well as meeting a number of other important requirements. Of course, facts are not necessary for conservative "outrages" as is well evident.
