Hickenlooper proving he is a liar

Trying to say he didn't know the sheriffs wanted to talk with him, having not spoken to Bloomberg, the political lies just keep coming.

Denying the phone calls with Bloomberg when there are records of them. Must be taking tips from President Obama.

Unlike Obama he didn't watch/read the news, so he had no way of knowing what was going on

I was expecting a lot more from Hickenlooper, he has a business background and despite being a Democrat I thought he still had some personal integrity. I have been proven wrong. What makes it worse is that he doesn't have the spine to stand behind his decisions, if you are really an anti-gun advocate then say so and hold your ground. All of this wishy-washy "...gee, I'm really sorry now. I didn't realize I alienated so many of my employees and constituents when I took that anti-gun position..." reeks of "I'll say anything you want to hear, just re-elect me."

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Now Hickenlooper says "What the F...! I apologized." Wow, our classy Governor just keeps on digging that hole. :banghead:

I'll believe the apology sincere when he calls a special session of the legislature with the intent of overturning the laws his signature enacted. Of course that won't happen because Hickenlooper really doesn't oppose the laws. After 4 years of hanging onto the left fringe by his fingernails he is trying a dash to the center prior to the upcoming election. We'll see if the citizens of this State buy into his disingenuous actions come November . . .

Governor Hickenlooper goes on 850KOA every month to talk with the smallfolk. I hope they fill the whole show attacking his anti-gun record.

I hope they do too. I hope he confirms his firm stance to continue to support the laws that have been passed that, so far, have all been found legal by the U.S. Supreme Court.

(Gee, including the law that makes straw purchases by third parties illegal that was just upheld.)

Hickenlooper is saying he apoligizes for what he did, doesn't sound like he is being as anti-gun as LJ presumes.
