It really doesn't matter if I'm a moderator or not (no), but Science Chic can get in trouble when fair use material is not attributed. Maybe a small matter in your opinion, but not too small if some crap came down on MMT.
If you plagarize and get caught at it, most of the time your thread becomes a discussion about citing sources and proper use of quotes rather than whateverthehellkindastuff you were wanting the thread to be about when you posted someone else's work.
So, cite your source. Use prope quotations.

In all seriousness, thank you guys for pointing out the Fair Use, it does help keep us out of trouble although I don't want you worrying too much about it. If we receive a notice, most times a simple search and adding a link can take care of it. A link is required, and only a portion can be quoted, unless it's common knowledge, a government document, or a press release. I don't believe the Bible has to be quoted, so I wouldn't think that a passage from the Koran would be required, if that is where this came from. A source helps either way, if for the simple fact that it removes doubt and keeps people focused on the topic at hand, as NTM said.
Now, to the topic at hand, without further context, I would have to say that one small verse in any publication can be taken and misused or misconstrued, especially religious texts. It's hard to say whether the passage quoted in the OP indicates that Muslims are automatically to be treated as a threat because they misrepresent themselves and/or their intentions. Is that what you were trying to convey ramage, or did I mistake your purpose with your post?

And now we have a beheading in Oklahoma being labeled as work place violence. Yeah, every time I'm upset the first thought that pops into my head is "I should cut some ones head off." Its homegrown Islamic domestic terrorism, but not to the liberal mindset and controlled liberal media.
