This is just wonderful not sure about others but between last year and this year my healthcare has gone up 25% if it goes up again that will be just wonderful.

When will it stop? Sure makes people take a look at any purposed tax increases knowing stuff like this is going to hit them.

With many medical entities showing huge profits kind makes you wonder.

Thanks for the link.

Sad as it is, I am glad to see so many failing because it isn't viable and feasible as it is. Until it impacts a multitude of people most people won't/don't care.

Just another consequence of a lie sold to the sheep by incompetent liars who couldn't find their way out of a wet paper sack. The problem is that this is just one of many dominoes yet to fall since the ACA has yet to be fully implemented with all it's mind boggling stupidity. Yeah, my health insurance has also gone up a shit load, (deductible doubled too so I'm glad I got cancer in 2010 and not now).

Conspiracy theorists think they were supposed to fail, so we can get single payer.

There really is only two options if you think about it. Either the people who created the ACA are not gifted with any basic math skills or common sense, OR they intentionally created a massive overhaul that they knew defied mathematics and common sense, but were aware of the stupidity of half the country that would swallow it until it did collapse. They should have called it the Death of Choices Act.

I didn't know that Harry Reid is a "Conspiracy theorist".

Health care takes another blow? I'd say it's more of s "suck" and not the enjoyable kind! Socialism works very well, at least until the Gubment runs out of other people's money to spend...

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Mine went way down and the policy covers a lot more...But I'm in a labor union and we get to look at the books- What's happening with you and many people is that your company is overcharging you. Many companies are saying that they are paying 80% or 60% of your insurance yet what they are deducting from your paycheck could pay for a better policy on the open market..

There is no regulation..Your employer can tell you they are paying $1000/month for a policy that actually cost $300/month. Some companies are even profiting by supposedly "providing" you with insurance..

Interesting thought. I would think that would be illegal, but I haven't checked to see if there are laws against it. My husband's company is going to start passing along the costs that they previously had been covering for their employees. So where we used to not pay anything for our health care insurance (we were very blessed), we now have to pay some percentage like employees at most other companies. It amounts to a pay cut, but the only other option is to look for a different job and go somewhere you have to pay anyway. <shrug>
