Iowa Debate Tonight

If you are voting against Trump, are you also voting for a Democrat (or Indy) because of their policy proposals? If you are, then you should be watching tonight because it's really going to be interesting to see how the five try to set themselves apart from each other. Will the moderates (not really moderates but just less crazy) go after each other more or will they go after the two crazies? Popcorn is ready... gotta go!

Moderator: Sanders, did you tell Warren a woman could not be president?

Bernie: No, I never said that

Moderator: Sanders, let me be clear, are you saying you never told her a woman could not win the election?

Sanders: That is correct.

Moderator: Warren, what did you say when Sanders said you could not win the election?

LOL!!! Somebody thinks Sanders is lying! I thought moderators were supposed to not be biased. (not really, of course they are usually biased, just like the media where they come from)

Bernie just said "Medicare for All" will cost the average family about $1200 a year LOL!!!

Then of course Warren just topped him by saying her plan wouldn't raise taxes by "one thin dime" LOL LOL LOL!!

I had a tough day and I really needed a good laugh but I'm gonna have to save the rest of this for later when my stomach doesn't hurt.

To wrap up the extreme pettiness of last nights weak debate, Sanders offers a handshake to Warren who immediately balls up that boney little fist and pulls it back. LOL

Elizabeth Warren is feeling the pressure. She once was a leader but now has slipped. I think her big mistake was actually giving the public the nuts and bolts of her healthcare plan. Sanders is vague about his deal and just declares that we can do this, we are the wealthiest nation in the world.

I tried to watch it last night but my wife had to turn away after seeing Senator Biden stumble on another answer. He couldn't answer the moderator's question and drove off into the weeds. Sad.

Yeah Biden is really showing his age when he speaks and it will be very interesting to see him up against Trump if he makes it. I think Bernie is the Trump of the left in that he will have all the enthusiastic voters but not what the establishment wants at all. He wants looking very angry at times last night when someone was talking about him and there was a split screen. I'm going to watch what I missed last night.... very entertaining if you're going to vote for Trump.

Is what CNN did to Bernie just a little disturbing to those of you on the left? Even if you don't like him, why is it ok for a moderator to completely ignore what he just said and basically call him a liar? CNN has proven over and over that it is the least honest network in our country. Hopefully that Covington kid got most of the millions he sued for.

Good point. I think if Bernie actually won, I don't think he would be able to accomplish much. Few moderate Dems would agree to his socialist plans. He would be mainly writing executive orders. Despite decades in politics, he hasn't shown himself to be someone who can get other politicians to sign on to his causes. The gang is pretty small.
